Choose a location between existing studs and mark a level line; place niche on line and trace outer edges.

Glue Niche Into Opening
Adhere niche to back wall and studs using 100% latex modified thin-set mortar or silicone sealant.

Cut the Opening
Cut a rough opening along line, exposing back wall and studs.

Tape the Edges
Seal joints with silicone sealant or apply fiberglass mesh tape to joints, overlapping them
with thin-set mortar.

Ready for Tile
Allow 24 hours before cleaning or grouting. 100% latex modified thin-set mortar is recommended for tile adhesion.
